Ta-Da Triangles
If you are drawn to quilt designs that use lots of triangle/squares but you just hate stitching and working with the diagonal edges, then read on.
One of the first quilting projects I made had loads of little triangle/squares. The instructions showed me how to draw a grid on paper and then to sew along the lines on the paper and through the two fabrics used in the triangle/squares all at the same time. When everything was stitched, cut apart and pressed, I had perfect little units. Amazing! I thought I would use this method always, but I soon tired of drawing those endless grids and removing all that paper from the finished units. I came to prefer slightly skewed triangle/squares to all that extra work.
Ta-Da Triangles eliminates all that extra work. It's a lightweight fusible interfacing sheet with a preprinted grid. Just fuse it to the wrong side of one of your fabrics, place the fused fabric right sides together with the second fabric, pin them to hold and stitch on the lines. And it goes a step further--there's nothing to remove. The very thin layer of interfacing adds stability to the triangle/squares and prevents them from stretching as you piece them into your quilt designs.
Ta-Da Triangles is available in finished triangle/square sizes from 1/4 inch to 6 inches and in packages with a combination of sizes. Each package is $5.99 but the number of units that can be made varies depending on their size. Check them out and a step-by-step demonstration of how they are used at tadaquiltproducts.com.
